Special days you should never forget:

  • Easter (Sunday after the Paschal Full Moon)
  • Christmas (December 25)
  • Anniversary
  • Girlfriend/Wife Birthday (Girls: it is OK to forgot your husband's/boyfriend's birthday)
  • Any of your children's birthdays (Your wife will never let you forget)
  • St. Valentine’s Day (February 14) (OK to forget if you are not married or do not have a girlfriend)
  • Mother's Day (2nd Sunday in May)
  • Election Day (Tuesday on or after November 2)
  • Independence Day (July 4)
  • Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
  • Flag Day (June 14)
  • Patriot Day (September 11)
  • Veterans Day (November 11)
  • Pearl Harbor Day (December 7)
  • Daylight Savings (2nd Sunday in March & 1st Sunday in November)


These are OK if you do forget, but they are generally considered major days:



  • Martin Luther King Day (3rd Monday in January)
  • Presidents Day (3rd Monday in February)
  • Father's Day (3rd Sunday in June)
  • Labor Day (1st Monday in September)
  • Columbus Day (2nd Monday in October)
  • Halloween (October 31)
  • Thanksgiving (4th Thursday of November)
  • New Year's Eve/Day (December 31 / January 1)

  • Groundhog Day (February 2)
  • St. Patrick's Day (March 17)
  • April Fool’s Day (April 1)
  • Good Friday (2 days before Easter)
